Brian is a Principal and Co-Head of the Investment Banking Group of Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., a New York-based, full service broker dealer. He is responsible for advising banks and other financial institutions on strategic matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and financings.
As an officer of the JTA Board of Directors, Brian played a lead role in brokering the merger with My Jewish Learning that led to the creation of 70 Faces Media. He now serves as a vice president of the new organization. Brian is involved in a number of volunteer organizations focused on education, including the KIPP New Jersey charter school system and New Jersey SEEDS, a non-profit organization that prepares motivated, high-achieving, low-income students for admission to private schools and colleges. He also serves on the boards of the Yale Law School Fund, the Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, N.J. and the Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation.
Brian lives in Montclair, New Jersey with his wife, Linda, a development and fundraising consultant to non-profit companies. Their daughter, Emma, is a member of Teach for America and teaches 8th Grade English in Little Rock, Arkansas, and their son, Aaron, attends the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
Jane G. Weitzman
Jane was the executive vice president of Stuart Weitzman and the founding vice president of Stuart Weitzman Retail. She spearheaded philanthropy for the company by generating funds to support breast and ovarian cancer research and awareness. Her current book, Art & Sole, displays stunning showcases where fashion and fantasy meet and will thrill both shoe and art lovers alike.
Jane joined the Board of Directors of JTA in 1995, and now serves on the Executive Committee of 70 Faces Media. In addition, she serves on the executive committees of the UJA of Greenwich and The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. She also serves on the Trust Board of Boston Children’s Hospital and the Board of the Greenwich JCC. She recently became the President of the Jewish Book Council. Jane and her husband, Stuart, have two daughters, Elizabeth and Rachael, and a granddaughter, Eva.
Mark is an attorney and partner in Garden Homes, a real estate development firm. He is also owner/president of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings. Mark joined the Board of Directors of JTA in 2002, and now serves on the Executive Committee of 70 Faces Media. He has served as UJC National Campaign Chair, UJA National Young Leadership Cabinet Chair, and as President of the Jewish Federation of Central New Jersey. Currently, Mark chairs the Jewish Federations of North America national initiative that addresses the needs of impoverished Holocaust survivors living in the United States. Mark and his wife Jane have four children, Steven, Daniel, Rachel, and Andrew.
